Temporary solutions to overcome laggy/slow Facebook loading page in Malaysia ( Windows Only )

Hi welcome to my first blog post about IT stuffs. I have decided to make this post since Facebook has become so laggy and slow past one week. There is some tricks via ip address which can improve the loading speed of Facebook and I hope it will be helpful to you all.

Follow this steps, slow by slow :)

Step [ 1 ]

First of all, you must log in to your Windows with administrator access (if the computer is your personal one, most likely you are the administrator).

*On Windows Vista/7, if it is possible, turn off the User Account Control (UAC) to prevent unnecessary warning to the modification. To access the UAC settings, click Start button, then click on your display picture. Change the UAC settings to Never Notify. You can always turn it back to the default settings if you wish to.

Step [ 2 ]

Browse for a file called ‘hosts’. The location of the file is at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\. Right click on the file, and select Open. You should be prompted with a list of program, choose Notepad.

Step [ 3 ]

Once the hosts file is opened in Notepad, just add the following text to the end of the text file:

203.106.85.66 www.facebook.com

Press Ctrl+S to save the file and you can close the file. Try to load your Facebook page again after a few seconds and see if the workaround works for you. For me, ping time has been greatly reduced and Facebook is butter smooth again.

It's the new way of my life now. Every single deed that we are acting on brings out it's value. So, "Think Positive, React Positive". It would help us a lot in our daily life. I've been thinking this for quite a long time and I have decided to make myself more "Updated". That's the only word that can describe me now. You might not understand on what I'm talking about as but soon!

Wonderful Langkawi Trip & New Year Celebration!

It was just amazing and simply superb. I couldn't express the way we was during the vacation. Our first destionation during the vacations is at :-

• We looked for hotel and found two different rooms at the different places. One is at Cenang Beach and the other one is far from our current room.
• After checked into the room, we went and fresh up at the Cenang Beach and it took about 2 hours. After that, we went to a duty free shop and purchase some beers, vodka's and also liquor. The price was quite cheap and we spend more than RM200 buying all that sorts.
• At around 9pm, we had our dinner at a Seafood Restaurant and the food is just okay.
• At 12 midnight on the same day, we had some fun and finished up a bottle of COCKE ( hehe ). Then around 1am on the same day, Lenges slept earlier than us. We went for a walk around the town and had a wonderful experience. We had some sorts of discussions.
• On the second day of our vacation, we planned our tour to Pulau Payar where it's specialty is "Snorkeling". First all of us had difficulty to swim over and started to snorkel but then after a few while we managed to get rid of it.
• After the event, we then continued our day by returning home. Around 5pm we reached our room and cleared out all our stuffs. Then, we started to walk around the street and brought over some souvenirs. It was really a memorable day which I couldn't forget in my entire life. Around 12pm, we continued our usual duty.
• On the third day, we went to "Go Cart" race. It was really nice and we had a fun race among us. During the way, I saw a american girl which reallt took our out sights. She looks really beautiful and all of us get attracted to her. Hehe! It was just a past - time after driving go cart. Actually during the day, we woke up late and everything were clumsy. Around 8pm after having our dinner that is "Nasi Lemak" nearby our room, we rested and fresh up ourself since we were just back from the beach. Around 9pm, we went to Kuah town for shopping and some of my friend brought valuable things such as sports shoes, bags and chocolates since Langkawi are known as Duty Free Land. For me, the price of the chocolates are still not vary but it is considered as reasonable.
• Around 11.30pm, we brought some foods and can drinks to celebrate our New Year Celebration at the nearby beach. The celebration is just amazing as it was covered over by tourists. We plucked over some candles and it really looks awesome. Around 1.30pm, we packed our stuffs from the beach and went to our room and cleaned it out. ( Arvin and Puven were doing it while I and Lenges were outside looking at the amazing creations of nature created by God".
• On the 1st January 2011, we woke up around 11.30 and went to Langkawi Cable Car. Firstly it was closed due to windy environment and then the cable started to work as usual. Around 1pm we entered the cable car and the scenery is just perfect as it has a high scenery from top and it was totally amazing. We stopped at a pit point and took some pictures of us and continued our journey back to jetty.
• Around 3.10 we reached the jetty and around 3.30 we leaved Langkawi.
  

Now, I'm really missing Langkawi and hope we can be together all the time.

After two days hanging around with my best friends, now its time for me to blogging back. After more than 1 week I haven't updated my blog, currently I about to make some changes to the blog appearance and hope everything goes smooth. Currently, I'm about to work out on the current main appearance on the blog. The logo will be changing into a newer one too. We will publish 3 logo's and the best will appear to fit onto the blog. It's hard for me

This week is one of the toughest day in my life as I have to struggle more and more to succeed in my life. What I meant by is to get a good result in my examination. After finishing one of the "hate-st subjects" I managed to concentrate on the other subjects. Still there are 3 more for me to hold on and get the fullest mind peace. Ok people, I have to go now! 6 More To Go!

Exam... Exam... Exam... I've been studying so seriously until I don't even know the time flow that I have been going through past these three days. There are more 6 examinations that I have to go through in order to gain peace for my mind and heart. Even though, there are more that I need to study and discover about, but this examination will really determine the path of my life whether its "White" or "Black". Anyways, I have no time to blog, facebook-ing and other online activities.

Stressed up!

Just a few days to go, I can feel the heat of the stress and the tiredness. Recently, I've stopped everything including blogging, facebook-ing and many other activities due to my examination. I'm over here just to express my feeling towards the "Exam Fever" which are controlling me out. A day which I spent to sleep

Hello there! Still 10 days more for me to go over the most toughest day in my life. Today I spent my day sleeping and sleeping. I've haven't done anything special today except blogging and some updates over my blog. It seems I've been going through a difficult moments @ studying. After this I think there won't be any update until the month of December. Anyways, good luck for everyone who are sitting for the examination.

Too bored right here

It's Deepavali! I'm too bored and had nothing to do over here right now. Till this afternoon till now, I'm just on-lining at Facebook and didn't turn up to do anything useful. Anyway, this is just a boring update from me, have a nice day people nad see you all on my next post. Bye.

Fever... I hate this!

Fever? After more than 10 months away from "fever", now it has attacked me deeply. It's kinda high fever which I've been avoiding for past few months ago. Anyway, I'm not that much worried about my health status because my examination is just around the corner. Hope everything goes well. And one more, Diwali has finally stepped out here! So, I'm taking this opportunity wishing all my friends, relatives and my blog readers a wonderful "Happy Deepavali, May God Bless All Of You". Although I'm not celebrating Diwali, I can feel the heat of Diwali :)

DiGi iPhone 4 Play

I have tried several iPhone games and apps. The games that I prefer and like the most is Angry Birds and Scrabble. I've tried out those games in my friends phone and it was just awesome. Thus, these games are rather different from Java & Symbian games where it uses the power of full touch screen without any problems nor interruptions. These games are also classified as high-standard games which satisfies us fully. Even-though, I don't own an iPhone, but I really love those games with outstanding outputs and performance. Apple has really invested an high quality and powerful games for all iPhone users. I would be glad if I'm one of them too :)

DiGi iPhone 4 Me

I want DiGi iPhone 4 because I really want it since ages ago. I've been thinking to own it long times ago but it seems to be expensive but I've still been trying to get this gigantic phone. One of my friends are using this iPhone but it seems only I'm the unlucky one. Furthermore, This iPhone 4 has new interior design which are the best part and it's touch screen were absolutely the best part among all. I've asked many people about the previous iPhone version, and their answers were all positive. I would be glad if I'm one their use. Instead, I'm a DiGi also and I feel very proud because not all telecommunications networks sponsors an iPhone instead of selling them. I'm also the lover of the iPhone apps and all their specifications such as their wonderful games. iPhone 4 looks more better than the previous version and it's has been upgraded with a sleek design. I would be one of the happiest man if I would own an iPhone from Nuffnang which are sponsored by DiGi! Thanks for making this contest happening and I hope I could be one of the most luckiest person. A wonderful life experience to go through

Today, I and my friend @Venoo Gopal went through a wonderful experience which I really can't forget. It's about the life of happiness and enjoyment. I can't really define what I meant by but then it's just an imagination. Ok people.. I'm very sleepy.. Bye.. Take Care!

Exam starts again

After 3 weeks of break, now I'm totally messed up with my studies because my mind hasn't got updated for months..hehe... My exam will be held just for another 4 days more. I hope I can do well and get rid over all my problems. Currently Im working on with my current site which will be launched soon on the month of December. Ok people, see you all in next post. Things are getting harder

Nowadays things are getting harder and harder as it become more longer I stay on. There is a reason for everything I'm doing each time to get myself rid of everything. The first is the crap we called as "LOVE". Sometimes it gives us a deep pain that will hurt us very deeply but sometimes it's as sweet as grapes. Hehe! Nice quotes. It's just a feeling expression from my self which I'm expressing it here. Anyway, I've just "connected ( friend back )" with my old friend. Ok people see you all back later. Bye... Gonna sleep.

3 Weeks Of Holiday

Hello people... After a week of exam, I think my brain needs some rest to get rid all over the tension during exams. Everything just went smooth but I think I have to spent more time revising my studies back again because I found it's hard for me to answer some papers. Anyway lets talk about the holiday. 3 weeks of 21 days which look very huge for me. I hope my holiday will be going smoothly without any disturbance from anyone.
